The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai, Hon. Alfred Amoah, has exalted the NPP government under the stewardship of Nana Addo for decentralising the students scholarship program to the Metropolitan, Municipal and Districts Assembly (MMDAs) to easy accessibility.
He confirmed that, over two hundred tertiary students, both graduates and undergraduates in the municipality applied and qualified for the scheme and they passed through the normal scholarship interview process, notwithstanding they will all benefit from the program.
This is the first time, when selection for scholarship is been decentralised at the MMDAs level, indeed Nana Addo is working for the benefit of every Ghanaian, and am happy tertiary students in my area are going to benefit from this scheme. said Hon Amoah.

”Students from various tertiary institution with different programs within the municipality applied for the scholarship, and after the interview, the panel selected qualified applicants,” MCE.
Meanwhile, the panel for the interview were; two officials from the scholarship secretariat, some selected staff from the assembly, the MCE and some stakeholders in the municipality.
