Kidnapped Tadi girls: Families not angry enough- Public Interest Advocate

Public Interest Advocate and political commentator, Mr. Frank Aboagye Danyansah has stated that government not showing much concern in the case of the 3 kidnapped Takoradi girls issue because their families are not angry enough.

Three (3) Takoradi Girls somewhere in 2018 were kidnapped in Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana and their whereabouts currently unknown.

18-year-old Priscilla Mantebea Koranchie, Ruth Love Quayson and 21-year-old Priscilla Blessing Bentum till date have not been found after the went missing despite assurances from the security agencies they will be found.

Public Interest Advocate Mr. Frank Aboagye Danyansah speaking in an interview with Pure Fm’s Osei Kwadwo said government, security agencies have taken the family and Ghanaians for granted due to non-seriousness of the families.

“It is sad that government officials are playing with the Takoradi girls’ issue but I believe government officials have relaxed because the families are not serious enough. They have to put government and security officials on their toes for them to bring back the girls” he said.

According to Frank Aboagye Danyansah the Akufo-Addo government has failed as far is security matters are concerned.

“With all the security apparatus, President Akufo-Addo’s government has failed to protect Ghanaians. The insecurity in this country is getting out of hands which the President has to do something about” he said.

He added, the CID boss COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo Danquah (Mrs) should have been sacked from office for lying to Ghanaians about the Takoradi girls issue if President Akufo-Addo is concerned about security matters.
