Mount Mary College of Education on Saturday, June 22 observed a grand durbar for the 2019 SRC week celebration at the College auditorium.
Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for Lower Manya Krobo who was the special guest speaker, spoke on the theme : SUSTAINING QUALITY EDUCATION – THE ROLE OF TEACHER TRAINEE.
The Hon. MCE applauded the leadership of the SRC for putting together the event which recognised the student front of the educational institution and the role of the students in development of the school.
The MCE continued to challenge the teacher trainees of the college to continue to work hard to maintain the high reputation of the school since Mount Mary College of Education is one of the Pride colleges of education in the country.
He assured them of the ruling government’s continuous commitment to support them through out their time in school.
In an interview with the new Queen of Mount Mary College of Education, she said she is going to work hard in partnership with other stakeholders to educate the young students in JHS and SHS on the effects of drug abuse to help save the lives of the next generation of Ghana.
