Mr. Ebenezer Tetteh Kupualor, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Yilo Krobo Municipality on Tuesday, 11th June, 2019 hosted his development partners from Netherland and others from Ghana to discuss the way forward regarding the first organic fertilizer production plant which will soon see daylight in the Yilo Krobo Municipality.
The funding for the over 250,000 dollars organic fertilizer production factory which is already secured from the Netherland government will create several employment for the youth in the Yilo Krobo Municipality and its surrounding communities as well as reduce the damage caused by domestic waste produced from household and other sources since the factory will process them into organic fertilizer.
In an interview with the MCE, he made it clear that the Municipal Assembly under his leadership had done their part to see the construction of such modern factory which will produce other stuffs sees daylight by providing over 6 acres of land and creating access way to the site which will be completed after the main bridge opposite the Pack house at New Somanya on the Somanya to Dodowa Road is completed.
Ing. Immanuel B. Nartey-Tokoli, Managing Director of Jekora Ventures one of the greatest waste management companies in the country who are major stakeholders on this project applauded the MCE and his team of officers for the high level of commitment shown which had brought this project this far.
