GHon. Amoah Yawson, the District Chief Executive for Akontombra has admonished parents to take their children education very serious and desist from buying expensive materials at the expense of that core mandate.
He said, parents must invest in the education of their children rather than spending on things that would not inure to the future of their children.
The DCE made this assertion when he was commissioning 6-unit classroom block for Sefwi Aprutu Methodist primary school, a suburb community in the Akontombra district in the Western North Region.

Meanwhile, the headteacher of the school, Mr. Bismark Nuah, thanked the DCE and the government on behalf of the school for their support.
