The National Short Men Association (honestly we can’t tell if it’s an official association) have registered their displeasure about being sidelined by the ruling government after helping them win power.
According to the group, the then flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party promised to elect one of them as minister of Short Affairs but unfortunately, that’s yet to see the light of the day.
It’s a sad day for us and Ghana as a whole. Nana Addo is one of us and we want him to understand that, one day He will also leave the presidency. All the promises He made to us are now nonfa.
The group also promised that they are not ready to help Nana Addo until the promise he made to them in 2016 is fulfilled.
It will be recalled the short men came together to rally support for Nana Akufo Addo who was then the opposition leader of the New Patriotic Party after the late vice president of Ghana, Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur mocked Nana Akufo Addo’s height by saying he was so short that he needed to stand on a platform before seeing all the wonderful achievements of the NDC.
