After numerous attempts that spanned over some years by the Sefwi Bekwai Traditional Council to install a Chief, they have finally succeeded to enthrone Oyeadeeyie Basape Kojo Armah III as their new Paramount Chief at a peaceful and colorful ceremony.
The Kingmakers rather explained that, upon careful deliberation and further consultations, Oyeadeeyie Basape Kojo Armah III was the most qualified person in the royal family to succeed the late Odeneho Gyapong Ababio II, who few years ago passed glory to join his ancestors.
As tradition and customs demand, the new Paramount Chief swore the oath of allegiance to his subject and thanked his leaders for honour done him.

In his maiden speech, Oyeadeeyie appealed to Bekwaiman to unite for development and also his doors are welcomed by anybody.
The event at Sefwi Bekwai in the Western North Region drew many indigenes from far and near as well as some well-wishers from others.
