Bosome Freho widows celebrate Mother’s Day with joy

Frimps Foundation, a non-governmental organization (NGO) has donated food items over amount to 4 communities and 200 widows, and the aged in Adumasa.

The aged and widows were drawn from Gyapadu,Degyanso, Kusease, Eat ,Drink during Mothers Day celebration at Adumasa, a suburb of Bosome Freho district in the Ashanti Region.

Speaking in an interview with Asona Dehyie Kwateng, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Frimps Transmission Services,Frimps foundation,
UG TESCON President and Local Nugs President, Mr Frimpong Ebenezer, revealed that the donation is Eight in the series aside the other humanitarian activities the foundation has been doing in the community.

According to him, Adumasa Electoral Area is one of the poorest community among the communities in the Bosome Freho enclave, he called on government to register widows on SSNIT Scheme or Support them with finance; hence his foundation’s desire to lend a hand to widows and the aged.

He added that, the foundation’ target for next year (2020) is to ensure that all school going age in the Adumasa,and other four communities are enrolled in school.

Finally: He used the opportunity to caution parents, especially, those in the Adumasa community and its surroundings to stop spending their little resources on social events but rather use it to invest in their children’s education.
