It is about time Ghana Police Service, the National Security, BNI, Interior Ministry acts and acts decisively to arrest and prosecute the General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah for “dishonest, irresponsible statements, sponsoring of vigilantism, leading masses to defy orders of security”, which is and has resulted in death of NDC Hawks member in Kumasi last two days.
The calls comes about because, in a video, which is available, Brogya Gyamfi of the NDC, meeting the Hawks, specifically singled out the “General Secretary of the NDC as the brain behind the hawks”. It is clear, this adult who is supposed to teach the youth good things, is rather sponsoring militants.
The second reason that must call for his arrest and prosection is the fact that, “according to security expert Adam Bona, on peace fm, there was reported cases of “cutlass wielding youth against the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NDC, and the same Johnson Asiedu Knetiah came to deny it”. If Mr. Asiedu Nketiah had been truthful, he will, have “responsibly informed the police of the situation ahead of their meeting last two days, so the police prepare men to protect them”. So for Mr. Asiedu Nketia lies, and negligence, it has lead to the death one and injury another.
Lastly, Mr. Asiedu Nketiah has rubbished, defied, mocked, denigrated the Ghana Police Service to the extent that, the Ghana Police cannot discharge their duties. Not more than a week ago, “Mr. Asiedu Nketiah described the highest command of the GPS, the countries IGP, Mr.Appietu as a COMMEDIAN, JOKER, WHO SHOULD AT BEST REMOVE HIS UNIFORM AND ORGANISE CONCERT PARTY FOR GHANAIANS TO LAUGH”. This irresponsible statement of Mr. Asiedu Nketiah gives the NDC vigilante, that the “commander general, the Mosquito Nketiah is powerful that Ghana’s IGP and can defend them”.
I, by this request believe the National Security, BNI, Ghana Police Service will act decisely to arrest and prosecute Mr. Asiedu Nketiah who wants to endanger the security of this country and its people in his capacity as General Secretary of NDC”.
