Effutu MP Introduces Entrepreneurial Initiatives To His Constituents

The Member of Parliament for Effutu Constituency, Alexander Kwamena Afenyo Markin, has introduced yet two new initiatives to help his constituents in their respective fields of businesses.

The initiatives which follow similar ones embarked upon by the Legislator were targeted at the fisherfolk and taxi drivers.

About thirty (30) young men were the recipients of 30 cars to be paid within two to two and a half years period dubbed ‘work and pay’.

This model was used to distribute about 80 cars to some 80 drivers in the constituency before the 2016 elections.

On the part of the fisherfolk, Mr Afenyo Markin supplied them with one hundred (100) freezers to be paid over a period of time. This is to help them to preserve their fish and other perishable goods. This, he indicated, would improve the economic well-being of the fisherfolk within the constituency.

Recipients of these items were ecstatic as they could not help but express their profound gratitude to the Honorable Member of Parliament for the kind gesture.

They also urged him to spread his wings to others who are yet to be captured by his magnanimous eyes.

On his part, Hon. Afenyo Markin urged them to put the cars and freezers to good use in order to improve upon their lives. He pledged to continue with his good works as that is his ultimate goal to represent them in the House of Parliament.

He also hinted that sooner than later, other constituents will receive similar items from him and urged them to support him with their prayers.
