The Chief of Kwabenya, Nii Mensah Dza-Nyomo I, has commended President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the introduction of the free Senior High School (SHS) programme across the country.
He said this when he addressed a section of journalists in Accra.
He said to support the Free SHS policy, a parcel of computers and books have been offered by his Educational Fund to the schools in Kwabenya and its environs for them also to get quality education in Ga East Municipality.
According to him, government cannot do it all so the chiefs and Elders as concerned citizens and development partners will also contribute towards the free SHS policy to help government achieve its objective of making secondary education accessible to all.
Nii Mensah I, also called on the Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Adwoa Sarfo to assist them to fix the deplorable roads in Kwabenya.
