Minister-Designate for Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, and four others have been approved by the appointments committee of parliament as substantive ministers.
The others who were also approved are the Minister-designate for Gender, Child and Social protection, Cynthia Morrison, and the Minister-designate for the Upper East Region, Ambassador Paulina Tangaba Abayage, Mr Evans Opoku Bobie and Martin Oti Gyarko, Minister-designate and Deputy Minister-designate for the Brong Ahafo Region, as well as Samuel Nuertey Ayertey, Deputy Minister-designate for the Eastern Region.
They were vetted by the committee on Friday, 26 October 2018.
Class91.3FM’s parliamentary correspondent Ekow Annan who was in Parliament on Thursday, 1 November 2018, reported that the approval was unanimous.
He said there were no dissenting views from members of the committee.
